The consultation begins with a friendly introduction. Our caregiver or care manager will take the time to get to know the client and their family in a comfortable setting. This is a chance to build rapport and ensure everyone feels at ease. We will explain the purpose of the visit and answer any initial questions you may have about our services.

This is the core of the visit. We will work with the client and their family to understand their specific needs and daily routines. This assessment is holistic and covers several key areas:

• Daily Living Activities (ADLs): We will discuss the client's ability to perform routine tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and using the bathroom.
• Health and Medical History: We'll review the client’s general health, any specific medical conditions, current medications, and coordination with their doctors.
• Mobility and Safety: We will assess the client's mobility, looking for any fall risks. We’ll also evaluate the home environment for safety hazards, such as throw rugs or poor lighting, and suggest solutions.
• Social and Emotional Needs: We will discuss the client's hobbies, interests, and need for companionship to ensure we can provide stimulating and engaging support.

Before we conclude the visit, we will make sure all of your questions and concerns have been fully addressed. We will provide you with a clear outline of the proposed care plan and explain the next steps, including the process for selecting the right caregiver and scheduling the first day of service.
